The Oberoi Amarvilas

Day 7 Experiencing India. I have decided that the Oberoi Hotels are out of this world! Today, we had the pleasure of arriving at The Oberoi Amarvilas, and let me tell you, it is absolutely amazing. As soon as we set foot in the hotel, their warmth greeted us, beating our expectations.

To add to the incredible experience the staff at every Oberoi location gave us a warm welcome upon our arrival. Their genuine smiles and courteous demeanor made us feel like royalty stepping into the grand city palace! From the very beginning, every aspect, including the impressive structure and the stunning staff uniforms, added to the enchanting atmosphere.

As we headed to our room to drop off our bags and get ready for our next destination, Agra Fort. We couldn’t resist immersing ourselves in the surrounding beauty and elegance. The Oberoi Amarvilas had truly captured our hearts.

Upon entering our room, we were delighted to find it to be a perfect blend of luxury, simplicity, and comfort. The room’s spaciousness gave Chris and me to relax and unwind. The luxurious services, such as the spacious shower and incredibly comfortable bed, offered the ideal level of comfort we wanted.

Without a doubt, our stay at The Oberoi Amarvilas on Day 7 was nothing short of exceptional. The flawless service, attention to detail, and luxurious yet comfortable stay made our experience memorable. We can’t wait for our next adventure and the chance to experience the welcome of Oberoi Hotels once more.

Northern India’s Agra Fort, constructed in 1565, is a marvel of breathtaking splendor that never fails to leave its visitors awestruck. We had an absolutely incredible experience like never before the first time we land our eyes in this place! It was as if a time machine transported us to a whole new world. The ineffable beauty of the gardens and grounds captivated us as we strolled through them on Day 7 Experiencing India.

Surprisingly, during the tour, numerous Indians approached us, fascinated by our group members’ blonde and red hair. Eagerly, they shared that light hair like ours was a rare sight for them.

Engaging in conversations with the friendly locals, and discovering the enchanting landmark was an immensely delightful experience. The majestic Taj Mahal, located approximately a mile away, conveniently allures tourists to this captivating attraction.

The tour guides suggested exploring the Hawa Mahal, the Desert City, and the Blue City. Sadly, visiting those attractions is not possible within the timeframe of our 9-day tour of India.

With only three more days remaining, we will soon be boarding our flight home – back to Florida. Moreover, it was quite an experience! Also, we even made some cute friends along the way (see picture above).

Golden Triangle Tour

This mesmerizing tour allows us to explore the cities of Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur, all in one go. After all, with its rich history, diverse culture, and structural wonders, this tour is perfect for first-time visitors to India.

Our day 1 begins in Delhi, the bustling capital city of India. From exploring the city’s vibrant markets to admiring its stunning architecture, Delhi offers an array of experiences for every traveler. Also, make sure to take a quick drive to Jaipur and visit the magnificent Amber Fort, located just outside the city.

Additionally, we have heard that one of the top highlights in Jaipur includes visiting the renowned Jantar Mantar, an ancient tower. This UNESCO World Heritage site boasts fascinating structures, including the world’s largest stone sundial. Surely, it’s a must-visit for all history and science enthusiasts!

India’s vast expanse lies numerous breathtaking national parks, where nature lovers can revel in exceptional encounters. We highly recommend a visit to Ranthambore National Park, the most popular wildlife sanctuary located in Rajasthan. During a thrilling jeep or camel safari, visitors can spot the impressive Bengal tigers that make this park famous. Don’t forget your camera – you’ll want to capture these breathtaking sights!

Dinner at the Hotel on Day 7 Experiencing India

We indulged in a delightful dinner at the hotel after a brief day of exploration. We also had an enjoyable chitchat with our group. Moreover, we would definitely recommend stopping at Agra Fort, also known as the “Red Fort,” during your trip to India. It is truly a splendid sight to behold!

This majestic fort, brimming with stories of the past, captivated our souls during the trip of a lifetime of ours. Agra Fort’s greatness and impressive history leave a lasting impression on us. Making it an absolute must-see destination for travelers seeking an extraordinary experience.

Dinner was an array of Indian dishes served on a banana leaf; indeed, does it get any better? Moreover, the naan was a perfect dipper for all of the delicious curries that comprised our meal. Furthermore, Chris and I both loved the variety we received with each meal. Ultimately, we again went to bed with full bellies and fond memories of Day 7 Experiencing India.
